OMA to Design Marina Abramovic Institute in Upstate New York

OMA’s Rem Koolhaas and Shohei Shigematsu will turn a former theater in upstate New York into a performance arts institute, Amy Frearson writes in the online Dezeen Magazine. The project, the Marina Abramovic Institute for the Preservation of Performance Art, is named after the Serbian artist who commissioned it and it will function as both a venue and an archive.
